What are TYPE A magazines and which stocks are they compatible with?

TYPE A magazines are compatible with and interchangeable among the original AA700 and AA1500 Precision Short Action Stocks. Care must be taken to load the correct ammunition into the correct action or chamber.

AA223 magazines will work with .223 based action rifles; AA308 magazines will work with .308 based action rifles. WARNING: Do not load ammunition into a rifle that does not match the caliber marking on the firearm.

TYPE A magazines: AA223 01, AA223-A1, AA223-A2, AA308 01, AA308-A1

Compatible with these stocks:  AA700A, AA700A-DT, AA700A-OD, AA700B, AA700C, AA1500, AA1500-DT, AA1500-OD, AA1500C

EXAMPLE: I have a Remington 700 in a .308 based action, I also have a Remington 700 in the .223 based action. I can purchase the AA700A/B or C and the stock will fit on either rifle, however I must use the correct magazine type, AA308 magazines will only work with the .308 based action and AA223 magazines will only work with the .223 based action. I CANNOT use the AA223 in a .308 based action rifle. I CANNOT use the AA308 in a .223 based action rifle.

What are TYPE B magazines and which stocks are they compatible with?

TYPE B magazines are compatible with and interchangeable among the AA98 and AAT3 long action stocks. Care must be taken to load the correct ammunition into the correct action or chamber.

AA8MM magazines will work with STANDARD caliber long action rifles; AA136-05 magazine will work with MAGNUM caliber long action rifles. WARNING: Do not load ammunition into a rifle that does not match the caliber marking on the firearm.

TYPE B magazines: AA8MM 01, AA8MM-A1, AA136-05

Compatible with these stocks: AA98, AA98-DT, AA98-OD, AAT3, AAT3-DT

EXAMPLE: I have a Mauser K-98 in a .30-06 based action, I also have a Mauser K-98 in the .300 WIN Magnum based action. I can purchase the AA98 and the stock will fit on either rifle, however I must use the correct magazine type, AA8MM magazines will only work with the .30-06 based action and AA135-05 magazines will only work with the .300 WIN Magnum based action. I CANNOT use the AA135-05 in a .30-06 action rifle. I CANNOT use the AA8MM in a .300 WIN Magnum action rifle.

 

What are TYPE C magazines and which stocks are they compatible with?

TYPE C magazines are compatible with and interchangeable among the Precision Elite Long Action Stocks. Care must be taken to load the correct ammunition into the correct action or chamber.

AAMLA magazines will work with MAGNUM caliber long action rifles; AASLA magazines will work with STANDARD caliber long action rifles. WARNING: Do not load ammunition into a rifle that does not match the caliber marking on the firearm. 

TYPE C magazines: AAMLA 05, AAMLA 10, AAMLA-A17 (Coming soon), AASLA 05, AASLA 10, AASLA-A20.

Compatible with these stocks: AA700SLA, AA700SLA-DT, AA700SLA-OD, AA700MLA, AA700MLA-DT, AA700MLA-OD, AA1500SLA, AA1500SLA-DT, AA1500SLA-OD, AA1500MLA, AA1500MLA-DT, AA1500MLA-OD

What are TYPE D magazines and which stocks are they compatible with?

TYPE D magazines are compatible with and interchangeable among the original AA700SA / AA1500 / AAS10 Precision Short Action Stocks. Care must be taken to load the correct ammunition into the correct action or chamber.

AA133/AA134 magazines will work with .308 based action rifles; AA135 magazines will work with .223 based action rifles. WARNING: Do not load ammunition into a rifle that does not match the caliber marking on the firearm.

TYPE D magazines: AA133-05, AA134-10, AA135-10

Compatible with these stocks: AA700SA, AA1500SA, AAS10 

EXAMPLE: I have a Howa 1500 in a .308 based action, I also have a Howa 1500 in the .223 based action. I can purchase the AA1500SA and the stock will fit on either rifle, however I must use the correct magazine type, AA135 magazines will work with the .223 based action and AA133 magazines will only work with the .308 based action. I CANNOT use the AA135 in a .308 based action rifle. I CANNOT use the AA133 in a .223 based action rifle.
